How to use carry_sum to implement a carry chain?

I want to use the primitive carry_sum to implement a carry chain. And use the carry chain the implement a TDC. Can someone tell me how to use carry_sum to implement a carry chain?

    Did you read the respective chapters in the stratix cookbook? There have been previous discussions related to TDC at Altera Forum B.T.W.

    I have read previous discussions related to TDC . But none of them have implement a carry chain.

    The cookbook has given some examples using WYSWYG LCELL primitives . But I want to implement the carry chain in CycloneII .

    Can you give me some suggestions?
