How to setup floating license for a client PC?

I have a floating license for Altera software including Quartus II, Modelsim SE, Nios II. I setup a license server successfully according to instruction from http://www.altera.com/literature/manual/q...

Actually, my Window Server 2008 has not Telnet server installed and the Firewall was configured to prevent incoming connections. What I did is to add a port number (with a name) to the list of exceptions in Firewall. Other option is to turn off the Firewall. I tested with several clients and they all work.
