how to reduce the power consumption from pll in cyclone iV E device? i use altctrl block to switch off the clock out,but pll is working. I am not sure whether to switch pll input from inclk to constant zero will be effective?

thank you. it is a way i can try,though i have to wait for the pll clk lock signal.

The PLL lock time runs after starting the PLL,e.g. after reconnecting the input clock, it hasn't specially to do with reset.
