How to control left/right channel in wm8731 on DE2 board

Hello, currently, the sounds are the same in both left and right channels. However, how can I control these two channels to make different sounds? Thanks.

I am also wondering if I can control the volumes of each channel...Hmm, my code is in VHDL, thanks, buddy!
