How to config GX transceiver as DisplayPort PHY receiver?

I'm also trying to implement Displayport and have many questions. Did you suceed with Displayport? I would be very glad if I could ask you some questions. Or did anyone else implement displayport without a softcore?

one of Altera's partners is offering IP for DisplayPort

I know but I would like to do that without any IP.

Which device are you using? Is it Stratix GX?

Ah sorry, forgot to say that, it's a Cyclone 4 GX.

You can implement Display Port using the ALTGX MegaWizard Plug-In Manager =>

• Select 'ALTGX' and the 'Basic functional mode' within the ALTGX MegaWizard.

• Select 'Receiver Only' as the operation mode. Specify the number of channels, data rate, input clock frequency as per your system requirements.
