How to active my float license

Hello, I my trying to use the license recently. I have created a sever by using the modified license. I changed the host name of the license to be my laptop's host name, and the NIC ID to be my Ether...

From what you describe it sounds like you are editing your license file. Is that right?

If so - it will not work. If you have a new machine, with a different NIC ID to that specified in the license file, you will need a new license file generating. It will not work "using the modified license."
