how many logic gates a logic element has? Urgent!

Hi guys, I am wondering how many logic gates a logic element has? The reason why I ask is, someone ask me how many logic gate my circuit has, but Quartus compilation report only gives the nu...

one logic element can contain several "gates". Each LE is just a look up table, and depending on the device, it may have 4 5 or 6 input LUTs, which could have several gates in the function.

Just quote him the LE usage, or multiply this by 2 as a guess.
