How can i use a DDR2 in SOPC?

Hello i have a PCI DEVELOPMENT KIT CYCLONE 2 from ALTERA and the documentation seems to be really old.. the code that comes with the kit doenst even use SOPC. I want to use the DDR2 in the kit ...

Please any help? I don't even where to begin from. I've read the documentation but it dont even mention sopc
