Help for BSDL

Plz neone tell me whether it is possible to test the signals using boundary scanning technique without assigning them a pin of programming device.

for eg. if there is a signal connecting two components then is it possible to sense it, as if it is a virtual pin using BSDL. (specifically the internal nodes)

    I don't think that you can get the value of an internal signal through boundary scan. You can use SignalTap to get it through the JTAG connection though.
