GSM and GPS module for altera fpga

Most of the gsm and gps modules can communicate with a host through a serial interface, using either TTL/CMOS levels or RS232/RS422. You can use all those with an FPGA, you'll just need a UART IP inside. If the interface uses RS levels, you will also need a transceiver chip between the FPGA and the module.
