Gate count

Hi

How can i calculate the number of gate on my design after get the compilation report. And if possible to calculate the number of transistor.

Note that i have a Board Stratix IV GX, which use the technoly 40nm.

    You pretty much don't.

    FPGA resource usage is measured in LEs or ALMs and M*K blocks and etc.

    In the past, FPGA manufacturers liked to use "gate count" equivalent numbers, but it was mostly marketing and had little use.

    They no longer play that silly gate.
