FPGA cyclone4 and EPCS16

I am mew to this field.

I am using cyclone 4 FPGA.I want to configure automatically when power up.So i found AS mode with EPCS16 and JTAG.As give on handbook ,i need maximum around 9 MB RAM.So i am using EPCS16.Is it right approch ?

    The configuration file size depends on the device. Since no Cyclone IV requires 9MBytes (72Mbit), I presume your device is a EP4CE30 or EP4CE40 which require about 9 Mbit.

    In which cases, yes, AS+JTAG with an EPCS16 will do just fine.
