FPGA boot mode

Hello,

There is a description how to load FPGA from HPS in this wiki

Is says there is boot mode for HPS (which is using specified pins),

but doesn't FPGA also need to be set configured about its boot mode ? or maybe FPGA actually read the same pins of bootmode that HPS does ?
