FMC reference design of Cyclone 1o GX development kit : qts_fmc

Hi,

The reference design which comes with Cyclone 10 GX development Kit : QTS_FMC is controlled with GUI. The design is not using Nios II processor.

question: how do gui and fmc design communicate with each other? for example, when we change pma setting, how these new values are transferred to the design.

Please see the top level block diagram level taken from PLATFORM DESIGNER:

I am not clear Which block takes the data from GUI and which block updates the PMA setting.

    The picture you posted is unreadable, but usually this is done through System Console (or a tool based on it) and a JTAG to Avalon master bridge component.
