Flash Programming over USB Interface and PGM CONFIG SELECT Rotary Switch

I am very happy to be here, I feel my question will be answered here.

i succeeded in uploading my design into the flash device with the factory default PFL. witn the Convert Programming Files dialog box(.sof to .pof),I used page_1and 0x3FE0000 for option bit base address.I think it writes only to the flash page 1 and the option bit register. In contrast with my idea, the default factory configuration(on page_0) was erased and configured with my design.other pages also were configured with my design.I'm confused.

I want to preserve the factory default design and my design in different available pages of flash .I think the board support this function by using the PGM CONFIG SELECT Rotary Switch,is it? PGM CONFIG SELECT Rotary Switch works only at downloading design from flash,is it?how to do?

I am using Quartus II 8.0 version.nly
