Error while placing a netlist on Cyclone3 device DE0

Hi,

I am new to the Altera family devices and while routing netlist on to the DE0, I encounter an error that says :

Error: CONF_DONE pin failed to go high in device 1

How can I overcome this problem?

Read the documentation for your board. I have a vague recollection that you will get this error if you have one of the switches on the board in the wrong position ... my recollection may be wrong ... but at least its something for you to look into :)

If the board powers-up and starts a default configuration, eg., blinks LEDs, then I'm sure the FPGA is fine.

If you have no idea what to look for, send me the schematic for the board (you don't have enough posts to post a file to the forum, but you can email me via my forum address).

    Cheers,

    Dave
