New ContributorError: Can't access JTAG chain
using cyclone v quartus prime lite 16.0
I has been trying to program FPGA but the code is not dump showing some error like can't access JTAG
But i tried in another fpga board code have dumped successfully
i hope there is no problem in the side of JTAG , I don't know where the problem is coming
please let me know where the bug is receiving

Hi @Aravindpb
The issue may be due to
- JTAG header pins. Check your jtag header pins for ground short or misplacing it.
- Power supply. check the power supplies and its connection are following the recommended values as stated in the respective device handbook.
- pull-up & pull-down connected to the JTAG pins are following the recommended values as stated in the respective device handbook.
