dvi connector

we r doing video processing and we using cyclone iii ep3c120f780c7 kiT with daughter card hsmc dvi

The daughter card comes with dvi i(dual link) for transmission and reception.

We wanted to connect this to lcd monitor.

LCD MONITOR has got dvi d(dual link) and we have cable which is of type dvi d (single link).

so if r connecting this lcd and daughter card with this cable then there will be problem or it will work ?

    Unless you are proposing to generate a very high resolution picture the single link cable will be just fine.
