device file

hello everyone. I am trying to use QuartusII version 14.0. you can download device file separately. which is good. but the other hand, I can not find old devices like "cyclone III" . ...

It depends on what chips you want to use. In general, older chips need older Quartus versions. Right now I have 3 versions on my PC. Somewhere on Altera's web site (sorry I don't remember where) there is a document that lists the newest version that supports various families. Try to locate that if you need details.
