I'm looking for a debugger that will debug the FPGA over ethernet. The PC running the debugger will be connected to the FPGA using an IP to JTAG converter. Is it possible ? Thanks.
Honored ContributorYou could use EthernetBlaster Communication Cable (Download Cable) that is available from Altera for configuring and debugging Altera FPGA based systems.
Honored ContributorAn ethernet enabled programming cable sounded fab until I checked out the price: $575. What a !@#$ rip-off. You could buy a brand-new Wall-Mart PC, including a Vista license, to do that job for just $300.
