DE2-70 Programming issues

Question

I just got a DE2-70. I've been using an older DE2 from school. I'm running Quartus 9 and 9.1. My programs run on the older DE2 using that pin assignment, however when trying to run it on the DE2-70 with the updated pin assignment... it no longer runs.

I'm using a windows 7 machine. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?

Actually...  it has to do with the updated pin assignments.  Has anyone found an easy way to make the transition?

Hi, You should start from a DE2-70 Top level project and port all your IPs to that project. The best way is to start from a working DE2-70 project.

But you have to change the pin names in the design. I'm trying to find some tool  that make it automatically.
