The DE2-115 kit comes with a series of examples. Have you looked at them? For example, perhaps one of these folders has something

DE2_115_v.1.0.5_SystemCD\DE2_115_demonstrations\DE2_115_IR

DE2_115_v.1.0.5_SystemCD\DE2_115_demonstrations\DE2_115_TV
