DE0-Nano ADC tutorial

Hi, I just bought a DE0 Nano board and going to use it on my project with analog inputs.

I read the usermanual and followed the instruction for the ADC tutorial (the one with trimmer potentio) but I got no LED turned on, even if I connect the 3.3V pin directly to the input pin.

When I check with the DE0 Nano Control Panel, it reads correctly 3.3V if I connect directly as I mentioned. Can anybody help?
