DE0 and Qsys

Newbie. I would like to migrate the memory tester from Altera's Qsys System Design Tutorial to DE0. Would I change the memory controller, and if so, which one would I use? Altera's tutorial uses the DDR SDRAM Controller with ALTMEMPHY and the "About" says the module supports Cyclone IV. The DE0 board has external memory configured as 32MB x 16 bits.

Attempting the aforementioned memory controller produces errors.
