Cyclone V Local or Remote Configuration

Hii, I don't understand why the LOCAL Configuration Mode is not possible with a Cyclone V Device attached to an EPCQ Flash. I want to have the possibility to do a remote configuration of the flash used upon power-up. Thanks for help.

    I'm not sure your question is clear...

    You can configure a Cyclone V device from an EPCQ FLASH device connected to it. Is that what you mean by 'local'?

    You also mention reprogramming the FLASH upon power up, remotely, is that right? Providing the FPGA is configured before you do so, and you have IP in there to support programming of the FLASH, that should be possible.

    hm83, did you figure out how to do the LOCAL configuration mode on Cyclone V with EPCQ?
