Cyclone V End of Life?

Question

Hello, I will be doing a new design soon and now is the time I'm deciding which FPGA to use. I want to pick a device that is not approaching "End of Life" status. The Cyclone V has been around for some time and I was wondering if there has been any talk of the Cyclone V family going obsolete? I would pick the Cyclone 10 but there is no SOC variant.

Ask intel...However, if Cyclone II, III or IV are anything to go by you won't have trouble buying Cyclone V parts for 10 years - at least...Cheers,Alex
