Cyclone IV Power Supply Requirements

Question

Hi,

Does anyone know if the power requirements given in the Cyclone IV device handbook are DC requirements or AC requiremetns? Is it ok for the input voltage to drop below the threshold during load transients? What percentage of load step current can one expect? Would appreciate it if someone can point me to the right direction.

The Datasheet voltage specs are DC requirements, you're allowed some AC ripple on top of that. Check out this knowledge base solution that Altera put out:
