Cyclone devices questions

Hi, this are a general questions.

I need to know how much time does Cyclone I has in the market?

What are the differences between Cyclone III and Cyclone IV?

Regarding to the previous question, If I´m not using transceivers, what´s best to use, Cyclone III or Cyclone IV?

    Cyclone I has been around for approximately 8 years.

    I would look at the overview chapter or product brief documentation for the differences between Cyclone III and IV.

    Which is best for your product? Hard to tell, if I was starting a new project I'd be eyeballing the latest device since you usually get power savings and higher density for the same cost.

    Be sure to check the price and availability of any device you choose. Some parts are simply unavailable in some packages despite the fact that they show up in a data sheet.

    Thank you, then I´ll use Cyclone IV.

    This questions were because I need to upgrade a system from cyclone 1. The point here is to have a system robust enough to be our development platform for the next three years or more because we have one with cyclone I but is getting "small" for us.
