Hi Everyone,
I am using altera 5M40ZE64I5N(MV51003-1.2) ,it is procuted with 6 pin JTAG pins, now i need to download the program using Quartus II but as i read from the hand book u need usb-buster to program the CPLD.But i don have a USB-buster cable alongside me ,so can i know few things regarding this issue 1) Can i program cpld without using usb-buster. 2) Can i download the program with 6 jtag pins as usb buster is having 10 pin. 3) Any pointers on how can i download the program to the cpld with these 6 jtag pins I am new to this kindly help me out. Simplest solution is to get a USB-Blaster. A low-cost ($50) clone is available from Terasic, and even cheaper clones are available on Ebay.

USB-Blaster has a 10 pin connecter where as in ma board i have only 6 jtag pins are protruded.How can i download the program to it..

You can make an adapter from 10 pins to 6 pins. The USB blaster manual guives the 10-pin connector pinout.
Other USB blaster alternatives, such as Entner's ee blaster (http://www.entner-electronics.com/tl/index.php/eeblaster.html) also provide a 6-pin contact, but I don't know if the pinout is compatible with the one on your board.
