Cpld programming

Hi Everyone, I am using altera 5M40ZE64I5N(MV51003-1.2) ,it is procuted with 6 pin JTAG pins, now i need to download the program using Quartus II but as i read from the hand book u need usb...

You can make an adapter from 10 pins to 6 pins. The USB blaster manual guives the 10-pin connector pinout.

Other USB blaster alternatives, such as Entner's ee blaster (http://www.entner-electronics.com/tl/index.php/eeblaster.html) also provide a 6-pin contact, but I don't know if the pinout is compatible with the one on your board.
