CPLD Prgramming with JAM files via CAN interface

Hello everybody,

We have a system in which we have a 16 bit uC which interfaces our CPLD which has a CAN interface. Thus for the future we would like to be able to reprogram our CPLD by loading the JAM file using the CAN interface:

JAM file ----> CAN interface ------> 16 bit Freescale uC -----> CPLD

Has anyone done this before ? How do we "break up" the JAM file into manageable pieces to send via CAN.
