Could YUV 444 to 422 conversion (1080p) be implemented on CPLD?

Hi, I would like to know if I could use CPLD to process YUV 444 to 422 conversion for 1080@60p video(since the maximum data-rate of YUV data may up to 148.5Mhz ). If so, what's part number s...

148Mhz is a bit too fast for a CPLD. They struggle past about 75MHz

I suggest a low end FPGA (like a cyclone) instead.
