What are differences between Control-block based device and SDM-based device?
Hello,
SDM(Secure Device Manager) is controller which integrates high security features(Authentication + Encryption) during FPGA configuration. This is implemented in new devices such as Stratix 10 series and all Agilex series FPGAs.
Control block base is a normal device configuration flow, without high security features(compare to SDM). This is implemented in older devices such as Cyclone V series, Cyclone 10 series and Stratix V series FPGAs.
