Connecting microstrip antenna to FPGA board

Hi everyone,

I wanted to know if we can connect microstrip antenna with FPGA DE2 115 kit and interface in order to execute some physical layer algorithm on FPGA and be able to transmit and receive through that antenna. Your views are very important and helpful.
