Configuration Arria IIGX from EPC16 in FPP

Hello all.

Can I use EPC16 or EPC4 for configure Arria IIGX? I can't find any different in FPP modes between Arria GX and Arria II GX. But Altera did not use EPC in DK-DEV-2AGX125N. And I can't find any mention about Arria II GX in "Enhanced Configuration Devices (EPC4, EPC8, and EPC16) Data Sheet"

It is not possible. The reason of the missing mention is a size of output files for Aria II GX, starting from 29Mbit to 82Mbit for uncompressed rbf files.

But a capacity of Enhanced Configuration Devices ends at 16Mbit (EPC4/8/16).

There are Serial Configuration Devices (EPCS64/128) supported for Aria II GX.

Aria II GX Device Handbook, Volume 1, Chapter 9: "Configuration, Design Security,

and Remote System Upgrades in Arria II GX Devices", section "Raw Binary File size".

Standard flash memory connected via MAX II or a microprocessor is a single solution for FPP mode for Aria II GX, unfortunately.
