communication between FPGA cyclone IV and DSP C6678 Channon

Hi everybody,

is it possible to connect FPGA Cyclone IV with DSP C6678 Channon through a PCIe passive backplane without using a switch???

Someone help me.

    The question is about possibilities to use FPGA as root port? Altera showed that once, but it isn't documented anywhere...

    Thanks for your reply,

    I am just wandering if I'll be able to transfer data through pcie by connecting directly (without backplane or switch, using wires) the TX line of the FPGA Cyclone IV side with corresponding RX lines of the DSP C6678 ?
