booting fpga from flash during powerup

Hi,

I am using a Stratix II GX EP2SGX90 board containing a 32MB flash memory.

I want the FPGA to boot up from the flash everytime the board is powered up. Can anyone describe the steps to be followed?

Stratix II/II GX doesn't support an active parallel configuration scheme, thus the FPGA can't read the initial configuration from the flash memory. You need either an active serial configuration device (EPCSx or compatible serial flash) or an external configuration controller, e.g. following AN386.
