Arria V CRAM CRC read

In the past on Cyclone III devices I have managed to read the CRAM CRC using the cycloneiii_crcblock.

I now need a way to read the CRAM CRC from a Arria V device - "live" from the FPGA. It seems that the arriav_crcblock outputs data from its "Error Message Register" rather than the CRC. Is my understanding correct, if so how do I get the CRAM CRC live from an Arria V ?
