Altera Video Processing

Hi,

I am MS student at MTSU,my project is making an obstacle avoidance system using FPGA.

i am trying to use simulink to design system and to creat VHDL code..........

My questions are

1. is it possible me to use DE2 Board which has Cyclone ii chip ....................

please help me ..............................

    Hello,

    no I haven't, even if I am working with broadcast video designs.

    I suggest You to begin by reading Altera VIP suite user guides and watching videos of the capabilities of the suite. There are many examples using VIP.

    The trolls say that they need even more dots to be feeded for more answers.

    Basically Quartus (better download the newest one from www.altera.com) and probably DSP builder is everything You need.

    i want to buid a system which can identify object for example identifying square object ..

    what are the software and tools i need , how i can get them

    i have quatus ii 9.0 version

    de2 bord

    what else i need

    how i can begin plz help me..............................................

    still need more dots to answer!

    you can do project by understanding what you need to do and create the software for fpga and probably softcpu.
