A book called rapid prototyping of Digital system references a Altera UP 1 CPLD Board for project development. The book is over 11 years old and I am finding it hard to located this board for sale. Does any one know if I can order the UP 1 CPLD board so that I can develop some of the digital projects in the book? I checked Altera's University Program website and did not see the part, I also checked digikey, ebay and google in general. Am I SOL?

Buy a Terasic DE0-nano http://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?language=english&categoryno=139&no=593 Anything you could try on a UP1, you can do 100x better on a DE0-nano. Buy the board, try some of the example designs, and then come back to this forum and ask questions. You'll get plenty of help here. Cheers, Dave - Altera_Forum

The latest edition of the book uses the current tools and is based on the UP-2 and UP-3 boards.
