altasmi_parallel reset port

Hello.

it seems for new quartus 2 (ver12.0), reset port is added to the altasmi_parallel megafunction. does anyone know how to use this port?

I use this megafunction for cyclone 2.

    Use it as any other reset port of a component or leave it unconncted to achieve the behaviour of pre-V12 altasmi_parallel.

    Altera didn't yet update the altasmi_parallel user manual, but the purpose is quite obvious.

    Thank you.

    I first thought it is used to reset state (status) of configrom or the megafunction and required evey time before command. But maybe you are right.
