adding jam file to Quartus

I have a Jam file for a non-Altera device. I would like to use Quartus to program this device but I can’t add the file to Quartus?

    Teh reason that you can't add the file is because Quartus II will only allow you to program Altera devices. If the Jam file is not for an Altera device or was not generated by Quartus II you will not be able to add it to the Quartus II programmer.
