About Cyclone III FPGA Starter Kit RS-232 serial port

I am using Cyclone III FPGA Starter Kit and found there is no RS-232 serial port on board.

I have a UART IP want to implement on to FPGA and connect to PC via RS-232 link. How can I do that? I am not sure if I can use USB port to do the job.

This is listed as a 'HSMC GPIB' in the list of Altera partner daughterboards, I've been trying to get it renamed for a while but no-one in Altera seems to want to help. :mad:
