Ubuntu 18 LXDE image for DE10 Nano board

Question

Hello,I wanted to install CUPS in Linux running on HPS side of DE10 Nano, but the current version of Ubunto is 16.04 in LXDE image that comes with it. THat version has reached to EOL, so I was wondering if I could find LXDE image with Ubuntu 18 and could easily install CUPS on it via APT update. Thanks in advance

Are you referring the LXDE with a newer kernel version that is similar to the Ubuntu18?
Yes you are right the support for the LXDE image have been dropped.&nbsp;
However you could still continue using the console image without a GUI like the LXDE image.
There are steps to build the rootfs for the console image in the link below:
