TOF sensor with nios......How?

I need to use a TOF sensor using I2C to comunicate with nios. I used Intel I2C IP but not working. Please help.

Hi,

I am using vl53l0x which is an I2C sensor. it is working fine with the ARDUINO. please help to teach me how to use it with the FPGA.
