The pins of flash on the Nios Development Board

Hello , everyone .

"Nios Development Board Cyclone II Edition Reference Manual", you may have noticed that the pins of the flash on the Nios Development Board Cyclone II (EP2C35) are not all located, such as pin49,pin47,pin45,40,42 and so on. The flash pin table drops some pins of the AMD AM29LV128M.

Where can I find the lost pins and How can I assign them to FPGA pins ?

    Hello,

    as you can see from the circuit diagram, the upper databus half (DQ8..DQ14) is unconnected. You can operate the flash in 8-bit-mode only. I wonder why BYTE_n is connected at all cause it could be strapped to GND as well.
