15 years agoSomeone pleaseeeeeeeeee help with my Altera Max II development kit
Our ADC chip (MAX1111) on the MAX II development kit broke. Is it possible to replace it with a 10 bit 60M samples/sec ADC chip?

No. It can be at best replaced by a functional compatible ADC, exposing a serial interface. This type would be restricted to about 1 or 2 MSps. Apart from being functional compatible, to allow drop-in replacement, it must be pin-compatible, too. I fear, you won't even find a pin-compatible upgrade from MAXIM IC.

Hello Sir,
Thanks for your replies. We really need further assistance. We have a CPLD MAX II DEVELOPMENT KIT, we need another ADC that is compatible with this board that can sample at a rate of 55 or more Msps because the built in ADC only samples at a rate of 50ksps. can u please get back to us as soon as possible. Thank you
