Honored ContributorThe cyclone iv gx transceiver starter kit (http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-cyclone-iv-starter.html) can be modified to connect the transceivers to SMA connectors, but unfortunately the FPGA package doesn't support RapidIO.
The transceiver signal integrity development kit, stratix iv gx edition (http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-signal_integrity_sivgx.html) has everything you seed to test RapidIO but it probably overkill (and expensive).
