For the Cyclone V, please go down to the “PCIe With On-Chip Memory Interface Reference Designs” section (link below) and go down to the third one, for Cyclone V GT. That is the same as the one in the link on Page 11 of AN456.pdf.

PS: I am trying to get the Cyclone IV Transciever Starter Kit working with this GUI example ..the card is seen, and enumerated but the GUI doesn't have any of the tests active ... any ideas on how to get the GUI to run with it ?

Also, can anyone comment on then these examples indicate Quartus 14.0 ... is that a pre-requisite to build / compile ?

I am at 13.1 for stability reasons ... I can switch to 14.0 for testing ... but would like to know if it is necessary ?
