Part status

Hello,

Could you please confirm if EP2AGX190EF29C4NGA (Aria II) is active and recommended for new designs?

Also could you please confirm status of Cyclone® II and Cyclone® III. Are those active and recommended for new designs or not recommended for new designs? I'd appreciate your help as on https://buyfpga.intel.com/PartDetail?partId=1823485 they
are listed as active however on https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/fpga/cyclone.html they are listed as not recommended.

    They are still active but is not recommended for new design. You may consider Arria 10 instead of Arria II.

      Thank you for information. Am I understand correctly, that this apply to Cyclone® II and Cyclone® III series as well and both are not recommended for new designs? So the buyfpga website does not show if component is recommended or not, only if it is active?

    Yes you are right. The portal shows what is available to purchase. For new design, I would recommend u to choose our latest product.
